On the girl's side there has been an entrant in each of the meets' six years with four being crowned champions. Octavious Freeman pulled off the feat in 2011, followed by Shayla Sanders in 2012, Kaylin Whitney in 2014, and Amuru Patterson last year. Whitney's 11.27 is one of the best in meet history and best by a Floridian.

The 100 wasn't the only event contested as both Shelby Hayes and Lily Williams competed in the Dream Mile and Caitlin Collier competed in the 1,500m distance in 2016. St. Thomas Aquinas was third in 2013 when they brought a 4x400m relay to Icahn Stadium in New York.
