4. Alyssa Wilson Goes HAM, Pops top 20 All-Time Throw
Toms River Donovan Catholic (NJ) High senior Alyssa Wilson has been near the top of the girls discus rankings all season.
But Wilson, who owns an indoor national record in the shot put, made sure to erase any doubt as to who's in control of the event nationally this weekend.
She produced a career PR throw at the Rowan University HS Girls Open with a remarkable heave of 182-0, which stood as a 14-foot PR from her previous best of 168-0.
Better yet, the throw is tied for 20th all-time in the high school rankings and Wilson is just the 11th girl to throw that mark or farther ever.
