What will April spell for the rest of the season for girls in the 100m dash?
Historically, we've seen a good range of times in April, with 2015 being the fastest over the last eight seasons. Rockdale County (Ga.) graduate Candace Hill, now a professional sprinter with Asics, ran the fastest time over the period, going 11.30 seconds at the Mobile Challenge of Champions.
But in terms of depth, this season was the quickest overall with 13 girls running under 11.7 seconds. Mesquite Horn's Kaylor Harris led the nation in the month with a time of 11.35 seconds.
No other April since 2010 matched as many girls under that mark. Here's a list of the top female runners in April over the last eight seasons
