The polls are closed here in the East, and at least as far as the MileSplit team rankings are concerned, there are very few changes. The top eight teams on the boys' side, and the top five girls' teams remain intact.

Only one new team cracks the boys’ rankings with Neuqua Valley, peaking in time for the Illinois State meet this weekend, returning to the poll at #14. Oregon State Champ Jesuit moves up three slots to #12 after winning the title with an astounding 11-second spread from 1 to 5. Meanwhile, PA State Champion, North Penn, withstood a challenge from LaSalle and North Allegheny to remain at #13.

Indiana State Champion and New York power Saratoga not only return to the rankings this week, but also are now firmly entrenched, dropping in at #6 and #8, respectively.

Championship races in key states Illinois, Virginia, Alabama, New York, Georgia and Washington among others are scheduled for this weekend, so check back next week to see where your team stands.
