Lauren Harris Breaks 1500m Racewalk National Record
She might be walking, but it's still very much a race! Lauren Harris of Sachem East, N.Y. became the best female prep racewalker of all-time on Saturday at the Ocean Breeze High School Invitational in New York by breaking the national 1500m RW record in 6:17.59. The senior already owns the Mile RW national record of 6:52.23 for outdoor track and 6:57.36 for indoors.
