Michigan's Top 5 Indoor Performers to Watch this Winter

1. Cameron Cooper, Oak Park, senior

The defending New Balance Nationals Outdoor runner-up in the 800m is off to a fast start, capturing a 1:52.89 at the Michigan Indoor Track Series (MITS) meet at Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) on Dec. 10, which gave him a US #1 time. He's the state's leading man in the 3200m run as well, landing a 9:58.16. Cooper is just months off a state championship in the 800 during the outdoor season and was third at New Balance National Indoor a year ago in the same race. History
