Abbey Green (Walter Johnson)
Abbey Green is establishing herself as one of the all-time great distance runners to come out of Montgomery County, which already has great tradition of past national caliber talent. However, she's still chasing a lot of the Walter Johnson school records set by another former Foot Locker finalist in Sally Glynn. She joined Coffin as the only other runner ever to break 18 minutes at Hereford with a runner-up finish in the 4A state race. Only a junior, Green will gain valuable experience this weekend to hopefully return in 2017 as the other 3 Maryland girls qualifiers are seniors.
