Sunset (OR) sophomore Ember Stratton surprised many with a runner-up finish on Saturday at Nike Cross Nationals. Now she has two more years to bring home a national title to the home state of NXN in Oregon. The Sunset girls also only graduate one runner from their top 7 which competed at nationals.

A look at the top returning individuals and teams for next year's Nike Cross Nationals. A total of 10 girls teams and 4 boys teams have at least 5 returning runners from their 2016 NXN squad.
