School: Timpanogos, UT
Analysis: Joe Benson is this season's sixth-fastest returner from 2015 Nike Cross Nationals, where he finished 16th to lead Timpanogos High School to fifth place. He also placed 10th at the NXN Southwest Regional and fourth at the Utah state championship. On the track this spring, Benson improved his times to 1:59.34 for 800m, 4:21.53 for 1600m and 9:11.84 for 3200m. Timpanogos should be a nationally elite team once again as Benson steps into the team leader role left vacant by the now-graduated Will Handley.
