Elena Bruckner of Valley Christian, Calif. has established herself as one of the finest combo throwers in US HS history. This past Friday, Bruckner established a new California shot put record with a throw of 54'7" at the WCAL league final. The mark ranks not only US #1 this season, but No. 4 all-time.
