We've only had two weekends of outdoor track, but we're seeing unbelievably fast times posted in the boys 4x100m. Two teams have already broken 41.00 and 14 have gone under 42.00.

Why is this so impressive? I pulled the Top-10 times from every year in the last ten years through this point in the outdoor season, and 2016 holds the Top-5 fastest overall 4x1 times. Adding to that, the lowest ranked 2016 team is Strake Jesuit at 13th overall!

40.09 is the time needed to break into the Top-10 All Time List, and 39.76 for the national record held by the Wyatt team from Texas that broke 40.00 a mind blowing five times in 1998!

The graphs above show every time a boys team has gone under 41.00 in the 4x1 in the last ten years by month (2016 not included).
