World Record Holder Jonah Gorevic is back at it
12-year-old Jonah Gorevic of Tailwind TC raced like a pro in the NYRR Youth Boys 800m: he dusted the field -- and his prior PR -- with a 2:13.44 effort.
The time was good for a three-second victory and new Meet Record.
Gorevic has a few records under his belt: he is the World Record Holder in the Mile for the 10-year-old age group (5:01.55) and 11-year-old age group (4:51.85).
We caught up with Jonah after the race, who said he is targeting the 12-year-old World Age Group Record of 4:43.78. He is in the seventh grade.
