Phillip Rocha torched the Pacific League by forty seconds in 13:57, while Austin Tamagno won the Crestview League by twenty-five seconds in 14:03. That represents career-best three mile times for both athletes. While they won't face each other at the CIF meet--they're in different divisions--we can hope for a three-way showdown with them and Drew Hunter at Foot Locker or NXN. (None of the three can pursue both championship races: FL West is on the same day as the NXN finals, while NXN Southeast is on the same day as FL South.)
