Now that every state has begun racing for the 2015 season, we can look at the early season numbers and see which states are looking strongest so far. Took the Top-7 Boys 5k times from every state and merged them together, and then scored each state as an XC team to bring you the State 5k Team Scores.
Keep in mind, this is based off of 5k season best times only. Some states have been racing longer in 2015, not every athlete has run a 5k yet, and all courses are different.
Just for fun, decided to also compare each state's team score relative to its US population percentage.
