Jordyn Colter Pre-Brooks PR Skype Interview

Jordyn Colter of Cherry Creek, Co. burst onto the national scene this year when she won the Arcadia Invitational mile in a then-U.S. No. 1 time of 4:45. The Cal-Berkeley bound senior was a Foot Locker finalist as a sophomore, but it is the 800 meters where she has perhaps found her best event. This season, Colter shattered the Colorado state record with a 2:04.56. The time still ranks U.S. No. 2. She will race her signature event at the Brooks PR Invitational versus a loaded field that includes Texas state champion Aaliyah Miller and adidas Dream Mile champion Christina Aragon. She tells MileSplit about her training and expectations for her final high school race.
