Probably the only thing that tops last week\'s triple is the fact that Webb set a national high school mile record which had stood for 37 years, running a 3:53.43, breaking the record by nearly two seconds!! Webb\'s feat put track and field in the national hot seat, and brought a great deal of attention to our beloved sport. With appearances on Peter Jennings, The Today Show, and Good Morning America, Webb proved himself once and for all to be one of America\'s shimmering lights in track and field. In addition to this, Webb set a new state record in the 800, running 1:47.7, capping off his second week in a row as R.O.W.
