Two US ranked boys runners took to the fields at the Manhattan Invitational. US #4 Brandon Jarrett (Sr., St. Benedict's, NJ) and US #8 Doug Smith (Jr., Gill-St. Bernard's, NJ) toed the line, and ran stride for stride for much of the first half in the race. However, Jarrett dropped out, and Smith went on to win easily over the 2.5 mile course. More to come on the Manhattan Invitational. Keep checking back.
