Terrell Jackson unstoppable, more top performers at Vanderbilt

Remember this dirty Kick of the Week?

That's Terrell Jackson of Memphis, TN, and he showed the same swagger in walking down the field at the Vanderbilt High School Indoor Invitational en route to a new US #1 1:50.67 800m. Perhaps the most impressive part was opening lap, a pedestrian 55 seconds.

But Jackson wasn't the only 800m runner recording national caliber performances. Caitie Faust made her indoor 800m debut in a big way, blasting an indoor personal best of 2:12.07 - good for US #3.

But the Tenn. meet was not all about the 800s. Makenzie Dunmore (McEachern) blazed a 55.19 for a new US #2. She also doubled back to win the 200m in 24.62, good for US #12.

Makenzie Jones won the Girls Two Mile by more than 30 seconds in 10:56.83, which stands as US #3 and set a new Meet Record.

On the boys side, sophomore Luke Meade made a surprise run for US #1 9:16.34. The time is a 14-second personal record in the two mile run.
