Remember this guy? Two summers ago, Ryan Clark as a sophomore from Banneker High School in Georgia earned a silver medal at the World Youth Championships in Ukraine with a 46.33 400 PR. Big expectations were placed on Clark to continue that international success into year 3 of high school. However, a disappointing junior year followed in which he was unable to even win the Georgia state title in his speciality and ran in the 47 to 49 second range in the 400 for much of last spring. Redemption time has arrived as Clark started off his senior year appearing ready to return back to his top form form two years ago in running US #1 times last weekend down at the CrossPlex in Birmingham in both the 200 (21.56) and 400 (48.73) meter dash.
