It was a great battle in the girls 4x200 at the Marine Corps Holiday Classic with Medgar Evers College Prep (NY) winning in US #2 1:40.71, while Western Branch (VA) was second in US #4. It was also a banner day for the track program making the trip up north from Chesapeake, Virginia with the Western Branch girls winning the shuttle hurdles relays in US #3 all-time performance, while taking first in the the 4x400 with a US #1 time of 3:51.85, and grabbing second place in 4x800 with US #2 clocking of 9:17.09. Nation's top 100 girls indoor performances in the relay events as of January 2nd in the MileSplit database.
