USATF announces 2015 Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country roster

The USATF announced the Team USA roster for Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country on Monday (Dec. 22). Thirty athletes will represent the United States in Men's and Women's Junior and Senior races at the international cross country competition in Edinburgh, Scotland on January 10, 2015. 

Six prep runners made the cut for the Junior team, including Elijah Armstrong (Pocatello, ID), Olin Hacker (Madison West, WI), Caleb Webb (Big Bear, CA), Anna Rohrer (Mishawaka, IN), Makena Morley (Bigfork, MT) and Ryen Frazier (Ravenscroft, NC).

The three girls selected for the event were the top three finishers at Foot Locker Nationals. Rohrer is the Foot Locker National champion (17:13), while Frazier finished runner-up (17:23) and Morley was third (17:29).

"I'm so excited to represent the U.S.! This is the next big step toward bringing my running to the next level and getting to the Olympics," Rohrer said.

"I'm glad my cross country legs weren't up on the shelf very long because I'm excited to be getting them down for a couple more weeks," Frazier said. 

Hacker finished his season as runner-up in both major prep cross country championships, racing nearly identical times of 15:12 at Foot Locker Nationals and 15:13 at Nike Cross Nationals.

Armstrong finished third at Foot Locker.

Webb, the California State Champion, took third at NXN.
