Entry updates for the MileStat.com Elite Track Gala with the number of athletes in each event plus the best seed time/mark in each. While the regular entry deadline is today, May 31st with the $15 per athlete entry fee (regardless of # of events)....there is a late entry deadline extended to Tuesday, June 5th with a $10 processing late fee associated with entry fees. I will provide several more updates on entry numbers and leading entries after the regular entry deadline ends at midnight as well as entries received over the state meet weekend. Meet performance list will be released on Wednesday, June 6th.

As one can tell, the meet is definitely growing in its second year of existence and the competition and depth in the fields is only getting stronger. Last year, one-third of entries came after the regular entry deadline in the late entry time period. We stress quality over quantity with the Gala as an elite post-season meet, but we still welcome the numbers. Do not forget that we give out medals six deep with formal awards ceremonies and there are a few events with still under that number, so don't let a medal go unawarded and sign up today in those events with smaller numbers!
