Eric Coston (St. Paul's LA)
Eric Coston was a champion all three seasons of his freshmen year. A Louisiana state champion in cross country and a New Balance Nationals freshmen mile champion both indoor and outdoor, the St. Paul's School (LA) sophomore Coston is ready to see how much further he can go in year two of high school. Coston won the Louisiana state title last November with a 15:15 three mile performance, while posting a 16:10 5K in one of his few races at the distance. His focus was primarily on the mile during track season, but did win another state title indoors in the 3200 with a time of 9:36 before lowering that down with a 9:26 two mile at the Mobile Challenge of Champions. His best race of the outdoor season may have been his 4:16 1600 meter race at the state meet.
