Rumors were swirling on Monday night through social media and blowing up smart phones across the country that high school distance running phenom Alexa Efraimson of Camas High School in Washington may be turning pro and forgoing her senior year of high school eligibility. The rumors (first reported and confirmed in an Efraimson video interview by DyeStat) turned out to be true as Efraimson will be following in a similar path as Mary Cain took this past year when she signed a contract to run professionally for Nike.
