Camas junior Alexa Efraimson tuned up for the Washington State Meet by running a new US#1 and Washington State Record. Efraimson clocked in at 4:37.85 which puts her as the first girl under 4:40 for the season. As the state record holder, she passes greats such as Amy-Eloise Neale, Maddie Meyers, and Brianna Felnagle. Anna Maxwell is currently second in the nation with a time of 4:41.63 converted down from a mile. Efraimson will shoot to lower that time at the State Meet in a week in Tacoma, Washington. After that she is schedule to run the Girls Mile at the Adidas Golden Stripes as well as the Mile and Two Mile at the Brooks PR Invitational. Full results from her district meet are coming soon.
