After spending his freshmen and sophomore year in Texas at Killen High School (where he won the Texas 4A state outdoor title in the triple jump) then spending his junior year in Kansas at Leavenworth High School (where he won the Kansas 5A state outdoor title in the triple jump), John Warren has made his final move for high school (comes from a military family that moves frequently) back to the place that he lived as youth in Prince George County, Virginia. His talents and previous accomplishments unknown to most within his new homestate, the Prince George senior Warren made himself known in Virginia and nationally two weeks ago when popped the nation's first 50 footer of the season in the boys' triple jump with a US #1 mark of 50'9.25" at the Suffolk Stars Invitational.
