The Scoop: Drew Bosley Made A Massive Statement

Burnt Hills Boys Balled Out At Baldwinsville Invitational

- - -

My apologies to the Burnt Hills boys, whom I projected would be at the Bowdoin XC Classic. Wrong!

Instead, the Spartans ran where they traditionally take their boys team late in September, and proceeded to crush it at the Baldwinsville Invitational on Saturday, winning the varsity large school boys race with 26 points, producing a 15:07 average for 3-miles and a 71-second spread between it's 1-through-5.

Not a bad performance from the No. 5 team in the country

The Spartans went 1-2-3-8-12 and saw senior Tyler Berg take the overall win in 14:35.20, just one tenth of a second faster than teammate Evan Brennan's runner-up finish. Senior Aidan Gillooley was third overall in 15:05.30, while Nick Hunziker (15:36.10) and David Metacarpa (15:47.10) followed.

The squad from New York is currently one of seven teams from the Northeast ranked in the MileSplit50 top 25.
