#9 Connor Livingston, De La Salle (NCS)
If you look at the list of NCS team titles won through the years, one team stands out above them all, De La Salle. They amassed 17 section titles and since the inception of the California state meet, DLS has been one of the annual visitors to the cross country hotbed, Fresno. In 2015 and 2016, DLS missed the state meet in consecutive seasons which would require some digging for me to find out the last time that has happened to the historically strong athletic school. Enter 2017 and one Connor Livingston. He may have been unheralded before the start of his junior but by the end of his track and field season, many in the xc and tf communities were quite aware of the red-haired leader of the Spartans. He won the NCS Division II title last year and at the California State track and field meet, Livingston came through in the clutch with a personal best of 9:03.75 and a podium finish.
