1. Thelma Davies flies to the finish in the 200m. Despite being in a section all of her own, the Girard College (PA) High junior still winded up with the overall win in 24.45 seconds, just nipping Russell (24.47) in overall time. Frederick (MD) High's Jaida Smith was third in 24.64. 

2. Franklin (MD) High's Nyjari McNeil flourished in the 800m. The San Diego State signee won in a US No. 6 time of 2:10.43, becoming just one of seven girls to run under 2:11 this season nationally. 

3. It was all Bullis and Western Branch in the 100mH. The top three finishers and four of the top eight were from Bullis, including winner Leah Phillips, a sophomore who posted a US No. 25 time of 14.21 seconds. Two runners from Western Branch were also in the top eight, including junior Adriana Shockley, who also finished second overall in the 300mH in a US No. 2 effort. 

4. Eric Allen executed when it counted. The University of Tennessee recruit scored a big win in the 100m in a wind-legal time of 10.46 seconds. 

5. Saint Joseph Academy (PA) High's Miles Green continues to shine. Not only did he win the 400m in a time of 47.83 seconds, but he doubled back in the 400mH, taking another title in a US No. 2 effort and meet record of 52.50 seconds.
