4. St. Xavier (Lou.) Wins Kentucky State Cross Country Meet
The Flo50 No. 24-ranked Louisville St. Xavier (KY) boys took home the win at the Class AAA cross country championships in Kentucky, scoring 66 points.
The team placed second, ninth, 14th, 16th, 25th, and 29th. They had a 0:58 one to five split and a 16:19 average.
Their win makes things very interesting in the NXN Southeast region. Loudoun Valley is still the favorite, but after them it's anyone's guess.
The guys from Milton, Georgia, who are ranked Flo50 No.16, took home there first win at the state meet and Flo50 No.12 Green Hope won their 4A state meet. Beyond those two teams, there are several vying for that automatic bid to nationals.
These four teams are going to make for one heck of a showdown in the Southeast region.
