Lexy Halladay Takes The 'W' At Bob Firman Invitational
Lexy Halladay from Mountain View High School in Idaho took the Bob Firman Invitational win in a down-to-the-wire race. Halladay, ranked Flo50 No. 15, ran against Flo50 No. 21 Camila Noe of Bozeman High School (MT) and unranked Sadie Sargent. Halladay would take the win running by 17:37.80, but Sargent would pull off an upset beating Noe by hundredths of a second, 17:39.20 to 17:39.70.

In the guys race Flo50 No. 9-ranked Ryan Raff ran 15:11 to take the win over the rest of the field. The team battle was another fierce competition between two Utah teams in Flo50 No. 6 Timpanogos vs. Flo50 No.5 Springville. This time the battle got even more interesting as the score was tied through five runners at 96 to 96. The had to break the tie by deferring to the sixth runner who for Timpanogos was 47th while Springville's was 109th.
Rounding out the top three teams was Flo50 No. 20-ranked Central Valley Senior High School of Veradale, Washington with 174 points. The fourth-place team was 2016 NXN champions Bozeman.
