4. Cancellations Throughout Texas Impact Cross Country

Sports are the last thing on the minds of those directly effected a natural disaster like Hurricane Harvey, which swept up the Texas coast and made landfall this weekend.
For those impacted by the historic floods in Houston and along the gulf coast of Texas, the only necessary thoughts are prayers directed at those impacted.
Multiple events planned for this weekend were cancelled as a result of the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. That included meets such as The Woodland's Friday Night Lights, the UISD Invitational, and the Edcouch Elsa TC Invitational. Many teams throughout the gulf are still wading through flood waters and dealing with the aftermath of loss and rebuild.
Here's hoping Texas gets back on track safely.
