US Top 500 Outdoor Returnees: Girls 800m Run

Considered more of a miler during her first two years of high school (qualified for the adidas Dream Mile as a sophomore), the 800 became Rachel McArthur's primary event last spring as she ended up winning the Virginia 6A state title in a close race with Kate Murphy in a 2:06.55 PR and competed in the event at the USATF Junior Nationals in Fresno, California.
