KATELYN TUOHY finished second at the McDaniel-Baxter Invitational this weekend. Her time of 17:45.90 gives her the title of fastest freshman girl over 5K in the country.
Tuohy has turned in impressive times since she broke five minutes in the mile as a 7th-grader. Since then, she has been busy with a 4:24.36 1500m PB and a 9:48.44 3K PB. Last XC season, she took sixth at the Nike Cross Nationals New York Regional and 49th at NXN 2016 as an 8th-grader.
