NC State Meet Hosts Five US Top Three Performances
Ready? One of the toughest states in the country hosted their state meets this weekend, and they did not disappoint. North Carolina state champions Sara Platek, Kenya Livingston, Marcus Krah, and Cravont Charleston rewrote the national leaderboards. Platek won the 3200 in US #1 10:31.94, Livingston won the high jump in US #3 5-8, Charleston won the 55 in US #2 6.24, and Krah won the 55 hurdles in US #2 7.23. Charleston edged out Jawan Miller by 0.03 seconds; Miller's 6.27 time is US #3.
