Boys MileSplit Upset - Noah Affolder
The upset of the week comes from Illinois transplant Noah Affolder. He came away from his first NY cross country season in 2014 with a state title, and now is back and gunning for even more impressive marks in his junior year. He remains undefeated this season and already has two course records. He annihilated the race at McQuaid! Running solo, he posted a 9:30 two mile on route to breaking the 3 Mile CR by just over 10 seconds in 14:14. While many eyes were on the large school seeded race to see a record breaking performance, Affolder shocked the nation and put his name on the map. Showing he's ready for a breakout season!
