Recap: This race was all Ryen Frazier as she took the lead with eight and a half laps to go and never looked back. She went on to finish with a time of 16:20.72 that she basically ran all by herself. With one mile to go, Frazier had managed over a 100 meter gap over the field and was able to lap a good portion of the field before finishing. Even more impressive is the fact that she was able to run well after an almost three hour rain delay pushed the race back to almost midnight eastern time. After crossing the line, she was met with a hug from her older sister Wesley.
