Girls 3200m

1. Destiny Collins (Great Oak, CA - Jr.) - The junior eclipsed all expectations all the California state meet, when she doubled back from a disappointing third-place finish in the 1600m to run U.S. No. 1 9:53.79. The 18-second personal best has pundits wondering if she could make a run at the national record this year.

2. Ryen Frazier (Ravenscroft, NC - Sr.) - The North Carolina State recruit raced early in the season and is only recently returning to competition for post-season races. Frazier won New Balance Nationals Indoor with a U.S. No. 5 All-Time 10:02.86. She ranks U.S. No. 4 with her 10:05.44 from March. More recently, Frazier won the Prefontaine Classic High School Girls' Mile in U.S. No. 1 4:39.84.

3. Allie Ostrander (Kenai Central, AK - Sr.) - The Boise State commit has posted impressive triples all season, one of which included a U.S. No. 2 9:58.74 effort. Ostrander and Collins are the only girls to break 10 minutes this year. Ostrander is the 2014 NXN champion.

4. Anna Rohrer (Mishawaka, IN - Sr.) - Others have raced faster this season, but don't doubt the will of three-time national 5k champion Rohrer. The national high school record holder for 5k (16:10.79) ranks U.S. No. 7 at 10:11.2, which is the Indiana state record.

5. Dani Jones (Desert Vista, AZ - Sr.) - The Colorado-bound senior won the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in U.S. No. 6 10:09.58. She most recently placed runner-up at the Prefontaine Classic (U.S. No. 2 4:39.88 Mile) and swept the Arizona state championship in the 3200m, 1600m, 800m and 4x800m.

6. Fiona O'Keeffe (Davis, CA - Sr.) - O'Keeffe is a consistent top performer who keeps inching closer to the 10-minute barrier. She ranks U.S. No. 3 with her personal best of 10:00.85, which she ran solo. It seemed as though the California state meet was the time to break 10, but she ran 10:01.14 to finish runner-up to a breakaway Collins (#1) after leading nearly the entire way. She was also runner-up at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational.

7. Audrey Belf (Birmingham Seaholm, MI - Sr.) - The Georgetown-bound senior ranks U.S. No. 5 this year with her personal best of 10:09.48. The four-time All-American placed fourth in the NBNI Two Mile and most recently won her fourth consecutive Michigan state 3200m title (including both indoors and outdoors).

8. Julia Heymach (Houston Lamar, TX - So.) - The rising star was a surprise third-place finisher at New Balance Nationals Indoor Two Mile behind Frazier (#2) and Kate Murphy of Va. Heymach is undefeated this spring, including a distance sweep at the Texas state meet. She ranks U.S. No. 8 with a best of 10:14.62

9. Rachel McArthur (Patriot, VA - So.) - The sophomore exploded onto the national scene at the Penn Relays Carnival, when she laid down a nasty kick to anchor her distance medley relay to win the Championship of America. She ran a 15-second personal best of 10:19.91 to win the Virginia State Championship ahead of NBNI runner-up Kate Murphy. She ranks U.S. No. 13 in the event and boasts 4:46 1600m speed.

10. Kate Murphy (Lake Braddock, Va. - So.) - The New Balance Nationals Indoor runner-up for Two Miles ranks U.S. No. 14 in the 3200m with a runner-up finish to McArthur (#9) at the Virginia state meet. Murphy also dominated the Penn Relays 3k with a U.S. No. 1 effort of 9:32.82.
