Dekalb County Championships, GA

Highlights

MLK (GA) girls rolled to a US#1 time in the 4x100 (45.42) and a US#2 mark in the 4x400 (3:45.94).
Jada Martin (MLK) took the 100m dash in 11.98.
Felicia Brown (MLK) took the 400m dash in 55.36.
Jordan Moore (MLK) won the boys 110H with a time of 13.65.
Cedar Grove boys won the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:18.07.

Girls 800 - 2:12.67, Erika Reddish (Vista Murrieta) won in a tight race over Chelsea Kruthers (San Juan Hills), 2nd in 2:12.97.
Girls Mile - 4:53.67, Carrie Verdon (Campalindo)
Girls 3200 - 10:33.83, Paige Tenison, Newport Harbor
Boys 800 - 1:53.22, Michael Hewitt (Great Oak)
Boys Mile - 4:11.55, Blake Haney (Stockdale-Bakersfield) won the first heat and Thomas Joyce (Campolindo) won the 2nd heat in 4:11.77! 6 total runners went under 4:14 on the day.

Sean Keller (Heritage WA) won the boys javelin with a US#1 toss of 230-7. The mark was oh-so-close to the WA state record of 232-00 and it is only March!

Jaide Stepter kept something in store for the finals! She broke a 27 year old state record in the 300H to run a US#1 time of 42.18!
Devon Allen torched the old state record en route to his winning time of 13.62 in the 110 Hurdles!
Ky Westbrook won the girls 100m dash withe a time of 11.65.
Traci Hicks (Cal Poly) won the girls 100H with a meet record clocking of 13.87.
Jasmine Todd won the girls long jump with a meet record and US#1 mark of 20-1.
Bernie Montoya won the boys mile run with a time of 4:08.82.
Rolonda Jumbo won the girls mile run with a time of 4:55.93.
Jaide Stepter (Canyon del Oro) smoked a US#2 AZ All-Time mark of 42.95 in the 300H, also good for US#5.
Devon Allen (Brophy Prep) blasted a US#2 AZ All-Time and 2012 US#3 13.70 in the 110 Hurdle prelims. The state record is 13.69 with the finals yet to come!
Devon Allen also ran 38.07 in the 300H for US#6.
Ky Westbrook (Chandler) ran 11.75 in the 100m dash prelims while Jasmine Todd (Chandler) ran 11.87 in a different heat.
Jasmine Todd also jumped 39-1.75 in the Triple Jump prelims.
Traci Hicks (Cal Poly) is the fastest qualifier in the 100H, running a US#3 14.09!

Highlights

Andres Arroyo and Otniel Teixeira did battle on Saturday in the 1600m with Andres able to kick it into a higher gear to win 4:11.76 to 4:14.78.
Olivia Ortiz came back off her 3200m runner-up placing to win the girls 1600m in 4:56.55.
In the boys 3200m run Andres Arroyo (Colonial) took down a very deep field to win with a time of 9:10.37. Gil Walton (McCallie School) was 2nd with a time of 9:12.34 and Daniel Moore (Holy Trinity Academy) was 3rd in 9:15.37.
In the 800m run Otniel Teixeira (Lake Brantley) rolled with a winning time of 1:52.28. Edward Romero (Flanagan) was a close 2nd with a time of 1:53.05.
In the boys 400m dash Quincy Smith (Smiths Station) won with a quick 47.50 over Ceolamar Ways (Nease) in 47.70.
Lily Williams won the girls 3200m run with a very fast 10:30.53.

Jesuit-Sheaner Relays, TX

Highlights

Aldrich Bailey (Timberview) won the boys 400m dash with a very quick 46.56 clocking. Bailey also assisted his team to the 4x400 win with a time of 3:15.16
DeSoto (TX boys roll in the 4x100m relay to a US#1 time of 40.59 and in the 4x200m relay to a time of 1:51.73.
Treymayne Acy (DeSoto) won the boys 100m dash with a time of 10.42.

LSU Tiger Relays, LA

Highlights

Jerry Brazil (Loranger) ran a blistering 10.41 in the 100m dash finals after running a wind-aided 10.45 in the prelims yesterday.

ASICS Mt. Carmel Invitational, CA

Highlights

Darren Fahy stirred things up in the boys 1600m run with a super-fast 4:08.15 clocking, good for US#1.
Rio Mesa (CA) boys won the 4x100m relay with a time of 41.69.
In the girls 1600m run Amy Weissenbach (Harvard-Westlake) won with a time of 4:56.76.

Jacob Thomson won the boys 5000m run with a quick 14:49.75 over Patrick Gregory, 14:57.96. The boys race was moved to Saturday morning due to lightning after the girls race.
Hannah Herd won the girls 5000m race in 19:24 on Friday night.

Highlights

The girls of The Woodlands (TX) rolled to a super quick 4x800 win in a time of 9:11.82.
The 3k's were also quick with Sandie Raines (Humble Kingwood) winning the girls race in 10:07.66 and teammate Justin Brinkley winning the boys race in 8:44.07.

California Relays, CA

Highlights

Loyola (CA) rolled to a US#1 clocking in the boys DMR with a time of 10:10.44 on Friday evening.
Loyola then came back Saturday to run 17:35.33 to win the 4x1600m relay.

Metro Conference Finals, FL

Marvin Bracy won his 200m dash final with the fastest time of the meet, a 21.22 clocking.
Levonte Whitfield won his 100m dash race with a time of 10.70 (video), takes his heat of the 200m dash with a time of 21.70, and almost makes up gap in 4x1 anchor (video).
DerRenae Freeman wins three events: long jump 19-0.5, 100m 12.18, 200m 24.38.
Kimlon Dillon sweeps hurdles with a 37.52 300H and 14.72 in the 110s.
Colonial HS boys relay team clocks a US #2 7:53.79 4x800 behind a stellar 1:51 anchor leg by Andres Arroyo (video).

GMAC Qualifiers, FL

Highlights

Robin Reynolds (Miami Jackson) took 4 events with relative ease, winning the 100m dash in 12.16, the 200m dash in 24.6, the 400m dash in 56.66 and the long jump in 19-3.

Stratford Quad Meet, GA

Highlights

Sarah Howard (Trinity Christian) set a US#1 mark of 51-11 in the shot put to start out the 2012 outdoor season in impressive style!
