Although the Condors' returning rankings aren't quite good enough to get them into the top 30, we do have to consider that they have been one of California's best at year-to-year improvement over the last three cross country seasons. In fact, California grades out 7th-best in the 3Mile Improvement Ratings, an indication that this team will be better than returning rankings predict. Will that be enough to make a splash in the Southern Section? That remains to be seen.
