Boys 2K Steeple - Ryan Brown of Broughton, North Carolina, ran a new state record in the 2K steeple. Brown clocked in at 6:03.48 for what's also a new US No. 2 performance. (RACE VIDEO)

Girls 1600m & 3200m - In the first heat of the girls 1600m, Mary Caroline Heinen from Maggie Walker school ran a new VA No. 1 and US No. 23 time of 4:51.58. Her time also ranks third in the country for the sophomore class. She doubled down and also took home the win in the 3200m running 10:44.15.

Boys 3200m - Loudoun Valley's (VA) Sam Affolder ran a new VA No. 1 time of 8:59.82 in the 3200m. He's one of only 23 guys to run under nine minutes in the 3200m this year. Coming in a close second was  
R.J. Reynolds's (NC) John Tatter, who ran 9:00.80.

Girls 200m & 400m - Mills Godwin's (VA) Britton Willson had a big day running 24.18 to win the 200m and 54.49 to win the 400m. Willson's 200m time ranks VA No. 1 and US No. 24. Her time in the 400m is just off her VA No. 1 and US No. 18 mark of 54.01. Watch both races below.

Girls 800 Meter Run Finals - St. John's College School's (DC) Alahna Sabbakhan and Pulaski County School's Grace Boone put on a show in the 800m, both running 2:11. Sabbakhan edged out Boone in a down-to-the-wire race running 2:11.19 for US No. 16. Boone took second running 2:11.66 for US No. 30. (RACE VIDEO) 

Boys 100m Dash - Blacksburg High School's (VA) Cole Beck and Bullis Schools (MD) Eric Allen Jr. battled it out in the 100m dash running 10.43 and 10.54 (+2.9), respectively. (RACE VIDEO)

Girls 1600m SMR - The ladies from Herndon, Virginia, dropped a 4:06.63 for US No. 19 in the SMR at the Dogwood Track Classic. They beat the second-place team by over six seconds after a huge effort from their anchor leg, who got the baton in third. (RACE VIDEO
