Jennelle Jaeger-Darakjy Looks For Breakout Indoor Meet
What: 200m, 400m, 800m and Mile
When: Meet Starts At 5:00 pm (MST) Saturday, Feb 10
Why: Jennelle Jaeger-Darakjy has never run an indoor meet, but don't count her out just yet. The sophomore has run some fairly quick times outdoors including 2:13.21 in the 800m and 56.21 in the 400m.
She ran her 800m time at last year's Texas University Interscholastic League Class 6A state championships, where she placed fourth. She's entered to run in several events including the 200m, 400m, 800m, and mile. If she can replicate and build on her speed from last year's outdoor season then we could see her making a challenge in some of the mid-distance races.
