Three Other Big State Meets To Watch

Pennsylvania - PIAA State Championships
Why: Rusty Kujdych (Neshaminy) - Rusty has been on and off the Flo50 rankings all season. Currently he is on the bubble of the top 25. He was second at Lehigh University's Paul Short Run behind Dalton Hengst, and fourth at the Manhattan HS Invitational. Look for him to go after the Class AAA title after finishing 10th last year.

Georiga - GHSA State Cross Country Championships
Why: Flo50 No. 20 Sam Bowers (Milton), Flo50 No. 13 Milton - Sam Bowers and the Milton, Georgia, boys should be looking to make a statement this weekend at the Class 7A state meet. Last year they finished third as a team, but this year they come in as the favorites with Bowers looking to defend his individual title.

Minnesota - MSHSL State Championships

Why: Flo 50 No. 4-ranked Wayzata High School, Khalid Hussein (Wayzata) - The Wayzata boys and

Khalid Hussein looks to roll to another state title to give them back to back wins in Class AA. Hussein finished second last year to Patrick Roos from Edina High School, so this year as he comes back to his full form he should be hungry for that No. 1 spot.
