With the postseason in full force in Texas, the Keller girls, ranked No. 7 in the Flo50 national rankings, have started to lock up their varsity unit.
And their impact was evident on Friday at the UIL 6A District 3 Championship, where the program scored the first four runners across the line, five through the top seven places and seven through the first nine finishes.
Junior Isabel Van Camp led Keller with a top time of 18:50.89, though senior Abbey Santoro wasn't far behind, crossing the line in 18:51.96. Senior Julia Black, junior Cambria Clark and senior Sydney White finished off the scoring for Keller, which posted a dominant district win with 16 points.
Van Camp is flourishing at the No. 1 pole position, dropping over 20 seconds from her effort at this same course at The Buff in Fort Worth.
