London Culbreath Dominates In Her Season Opener At The Southlake Carroll Invitational
McKinney North (Texas) sophomore London Culbreath, ranked No. 7 in the Flo50 national poll, opened her season with a brush of the shoulder and a U.S. No. 4 mark at the 5K in a time of 17:09.80.
The time is telling, because it's over a minute faster than where the sophomore was last year at the McKinney Boyd meet (18:21.91). She also outpaced second-place Carrie Fish of Frisco Liberty (17:33.80) and Quinn Owen of Marcus (17:38.60) with a good bit of confidence.
