Four repeat champions, a few shockers and a handful of record-breaking performances highlighted the 2009 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association’s (MIAA) All-State Indoor Track and Field Championships. Andover High earned the boys’ team title with a 30-26 victory over second-place Boston College High. The girls meet had a dual winner as Mansfield and Newton South shared the plaque, tied at 38 points apiece. The featured race belonged to defending titlist Emily Jones in the two-mile run. The Bromfield School senior improved on her nation-leading time by more than two seconds and also broke her own meet record by crossing the line in 10:29.57.
