NC State Indoor Championships: Wayne Davis new 55H National Record (7.05)!

Southeast Raleigh's Wayne Davis bettered his own national record in the 55 meter hurdles on Saturday at UNC for the North Carolina State Indoor Championships with a 7.05 clocking to better his 7.06 en route performance from a year ago in the 60 meter hurdles.

Other top performances so far in Chapel Hill include:

US top 5 performances from the champion (Torrence Hunt US #3 6.25) and runner-up (Fuquawn Greene US #4 6.29) in the boys 55 meter dash

Sanura Eley-O'Reilly of Jack Britt running a US #3 500 at 1:14.84

Logan Elliston clears 6'10" to win the 1A/2A/3A state title in the high jump

Hendrix brothers of New Bern go 1-2 in the 500 with Andrew Hendrix as the winner with the fastest flat performance in the US at 1:03.65.
