#3 Noah Affolder Runs Fastest Pennsylvania's Fastest 5K In 10 Years

According to Dan Beck of PA MileSplit/PennTrackXC, the state of Pennsylvania has not seen one of its own run 5K under 15 minutes in two years.

This weekend, two broke the barrier at the Carlisle High School Invitational: No. 3 ranked Noah Affolder won his home race in 14:47 and Nathan Henderson ran 14:59. Affolder's time is the fastest 5K time by a Pennsylvanian high school boy since 2006, when Paul Springer ran 14:47 at his district championship.

In the team standings, No. 15 ranked Downingtown West fell to Don Bosco Prep of New Jersey and host team Carlisle.
