- Two high-profile distance runners who skipped the cross country post-season due to injury took home state titles in the 3200m: Carter Blunt, who won the Class 5A race in 8:58.86, and Paige Hofstad, won in 10:23.91 over a field that included Ashton Endsley, Julia Heymach and Madie Boreman
- National indoor mile champion Reed Brown PRed by 10 seconds to win the Class 6A 3200m in 8:50.43 over Sam Worley, who ran 8:51.44
