Fiona O'Keeffe Makes 5K Track Debut on Future Home Track
Stanford-bound senior Fiona O'Keeffe of Davis High School in California made her 5K debut on the track last night at her future home in Palo Alto. She placed 10th in the collegiate field with a time of 16:28.35.
The time ranks No. 2 in California state history behind only Caitlin Chock's state record of 15:52.88, set in 2004.
The mark is a solid follow-up to her big meet season opener at the Arcadia Invitational, where she ran 10:17.74 to place fifth in the 3200m.
